Family Law Paralegal- Robinson & Hadeed, Gig Harbor
Starting Pay : $40-$70 dollars an hour, commensurate with experience
We need a full-time experienced paralegal who enjoys a challenge, passionate about family law, a dog lover, hard worker, compassionate, detail oriented, friendly, meets deadlines, enjoys ocean and harbor views, with good humor and fun loving. (It is ok if you like cats too, but the owner brings a dog to work most days. No, this is not a political reference.) Gig Harbor is a small town with grand scenery, our office overlooks the harbor. The new member of our team will enjoy their own office with a beautiful view, easy parking, private bathrooms, and a small kitchen. Currently, the office only has one attorney but is looking to expand.
Minimum Requirements:
Minimum of 3-5 years of Experience in Family Law (at least two years must be recent)
Proficiency in time billing software (such as CLIO or MyCase)
Proficiency in drafting family law pleadings from start to finish, including discovery, for divorces and modifications
Excellent writing, editing, and proof-reading skills
Strong organizational skills, including case management
Ability to discern the meaning of financial documents and organize them
Great interpersonal skills, with colleagues, supervisors, and clients
